I love 8-bit®, which has been on tour since 2022, is a completely unique show that brings the legendary world of computer culture back to the future! The exhibition has been so wildly popular that it has toured various locations over 40 times!

It’s much more than just a showcase of legendary computers. Every device is accessible and set up and ready to use in an environment that offers a glimpse into the computer culture of the 1970s and 1980s.

The I love 8-bit® is a touring  event that draws visitors—thanks to it, places like libraries, shopping centers, and businesses get something they wouldn’t otherwise have. The exhibits are put together by the Kallio Computer Museum in Helsinki, from which the exhibition can be borrowed.

The exhibition focuses on the computer culture revolution that began in the 1970s. At that time, computers became commonplace in homes and businesses, permanently changing everyday life. The exhibition visitors can test and see legendary computers from the history of computing in action. I love 8-bit® is the show in motion like no other!

The Computer Museum of Kallio in Helsinki is easily accessible by tram lines 1 or 8. Get off at the Urheilutalo stop, which is about 100 meters from the museum. Free parking on weekends for those arriving by car.

The production costs in Finland distritubed, installed and picked up (2026)

The exhibition is free of charge. The only costs are related to logistics, which cover the transportation, installation, and monitoring of the equipment. This makes the exhibition easy to organize, and the organizer is only responsible for providing a suitable venue for the event. The system has worked very well, with over 30 events organized since 2022!
